Founded in 2018, Essentially Tamara is proudly 100% New Zealand owned and operated.

We specialise in handcrafting shower and body treats which are elegant and feminine with a twist of sophistication.

Our products are made in small batches using premium ingredients. Every product is individually handcrafted and packaged by hand with care and attention to every detail.

Our mission is to offer unique, luxurious and premium products that bring relaxation into the shower environment. In addition, we strive to present our products in minimalist yet premium packaging designs so that our products are not only great for personal use but also for gifting purposes.

All our products are vegan-friendly and completely cruelty-free. They do not contain any animal derived products.

We try as much as possible to only use recyclable or biodegradable materials. All our products are safe for the environment, without exception.

Our products are free of parabens, sulphates and phthalates.

Simply due to the nature of the ingredients needed to make our shower bombs, they need to be packaged in plastic to protect them from moisture. We are so proud to be able to say that the plastic that we use is oxo-biodegradable which means that within 3-5 years of being in landfill conditions, our plastic will completely biodegrade without leaving any trace of the original polymer components which were used to make the plastic in the first place.

Shower bombs are not bath bombs

Please remember that shower bombs are NOT bath bombs. Please don’t use your shower bomb in the bath as a bath bomb. The essential oil percentage in shower bombs is far higher than in bath bombs and is too concentrated to bath in.

Along with this, all our shower bombs contain pure menthol, which may cause a cold sensation on your skin if you soak in it.

Hedgerow orders are sent via courier to ensure delivery direct to your door (unfortunately we do not ship to P.O Boxes). All packages are targeted for delivery between 2-10 working days of order confirmation.

Hedgerow offers free shipping on standard orders over $150 New Zealand wide.

For all orders over $150 the following shipping rates are incurred -

Auckland delivery - $5 flat rate
Rest of North Island and Rural delivery - $10 flat rate
South Island - $15 flat rate
South Island Rural delivery - $20 flat rate

Full priced products can be returned or exchanged providing it's in a saleable condition. If you intend to return an item:

Please ensure that all tags and packaging are still attached.
Items must not have been worn, altered or washed. We will not accept returns for any non-faulty items that have been used.
The original invoice must accompany the returning item(s)

You can make your return or refund request to info@hedgerow.co.nz  

Returns and exchanges will be accepted for items within 10 days of purchase.

Items must be returned to Hedgerow within 14 days of delivery. If the return exceeds our 14 day policy, we unfortunately will not be able to process your return and your order will be shipped back to you at an additional charge.

Hedgerow does not refund any shipping costs.  The cost of the shipping on a returned item will be your responsibility unless the item sent is deemed to be faulty or has been sent in error by Hedgerow.
